La Balteuband Is an instrumental ensemble lead by Emilio Teubal. His compositions show a balanced blend of elements of jazz such as the improvisation, and elements of Argentine music such as the lyricism of the tango and the richness of Folk rythms like Chacarera and zamba.The music La Balteuband waves between rhythmically and harmonically rich pre-composed structures, and improvised sections that highlights the musicality of each member of the band.
