Private Lessons
Lessons are available online via Zoom or Skype, or in-person at my home studio in NYC (or in other cities when I am on a performance tour).
One of the most important aspects of my lessons is developing a personalized practice plan that suits your needs. Over the past 30 years, I have tried and tested various methods for practicing (with some failures along the way), and I am confident in my ability to offer the most effective approach.
During my lessons, we can cover a range of topics, including jazz improvisation techniques, South American rhythms and other world music studies, chordal technique, advanced harmony and reharmonization concepts, and composition.
